The Taekwon-do GTF World Championship 2023 was held in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) from July 24 to 31.
That competition was attended by pupils from Gulistan city, Ukhbekistan.
Islambek Bahadirov, a pupil of the 3rd grade of the school N18, took 1st place in the Taekwon-do GTF World Championship 2023 among 9-year-olds.
Ozodbek Kattabekov, a pupil of the 7th grade of the school N18, took 2nd place among 12-year-olds in one-on-one discipline.
On August 1, the mayor of Gulistan city – Tolkinjon Dadabayev and the head of the Department of Youth Policy and Sports of the Syrdarya region – Anvar Boronov congratulated young athletes on winning the Taekwon-do World Championship 2023.
