Pakistan – Global Taekwon-Do Federation World Championship & Secretary General GTF Pakistan – Masoud Afridi, was specially invited to Khyber Police Lines.
He was given a grand and honorable reception at the Police Lines, where police officers paid rich tribute to him for bringing glory to Pakistan at the international level.
DSP Headquarters Hikmat Afridi and DSP Mazhar Afridi presented Masoud Afridi with an honorary shield and declared him not only a hero of the nation but also a hero of the police.
Police officials said that at the district level, it is highly encouraging and a matter of pride that a talented young man like Masoud Afridi is achieving success on the global stage and raising the dignity of the country and the nation.
On this occasion, the Champion Masoud Afridi expressed his special gratitude to District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal, DSP Headquarters Hikmat Afridi, and DSP Mazhar Afridi. He said that their encouragement and support is an honor for him, and Insha’Allah, he will continue striving to win even greater honors for the beloved homeland in the future.
Masoud Afridi further said that he is also thankful to the DPO Khyber and other administration officials who provided excellent security arrangements on his arrival at the airport.
According to the police, a special congratulatory ceremony was held at the DSP Headquarters for Masoud Afridi and his team, during which it was affirmed that Khyber Police, within their capacity, will continue to provide all possible facilities to athletes like Masoud Afridi so that the youth may further polish their talents at the international level.
